Brüno
This movie is bad. I do not know if his Sasha’s first movie is any bit better than this one but this was just bad. The funny scenes in this movie were mostly outrageous ones but they were not really that funny in my opinion. Brüno is a gay Austrian fashion guru. He has his own fashion based television show, Funkyzeit, the most popular German-language show of its kind outside of Germany. After he disgraces himself in front of his Funkyzeit fan base, he is ruined in German speaking Europe.
He decides that in his quest for worldwide fame, he will move to Los Angeles and reinvent himself. Accompanying him to the US is Lutz, his former assistant’s assistant. Lutz is the only person left in his circle that still believes in Brüno’s greatness. But as Brüno stages show after show after show, it ends up in a mess and failure.
The movie really has no ending except that Lutz and Brüno seem to fall in love in the end after their wrestling fight. Ironically, it is because of this that his career skyrockets and the next scenes show him recording songs with famous music artists. Overall, I suggest you go download this movie if you are curious to watch it rather than buying a DVD copy of it.
