Stan Helsing
When I saw a photo of this movie in the internet, I was pretty excited even though it is a comedy movie. Why not, when I saw the monsters there I knew that it would be related to Van Helsing but more on the comedic side rather than the serious mood. Frankly though, this movie was disappointing. I thought it would be good because it said in the image that it is from the producers of Scary Movie.
While Scary Movies were not funny, I was looking forward to some comic hero type of action scenes since I saw some black guy wearing a superman costume. I was like, hey! Maybe this guy is going to fight some monster baddies. All the characters did were running away from monsters after going in to some neighborhood where Stan Helsing was supposed to give some porn dvds to his boss’ mother.
Stan Helsing is sort of a descendant of Van Helsing as his true character is unleashed during the last part of the movie. Leslie Nielsen of Naked Gun fame also stars in this movie as a waitress in a local bar where he hosts the final showdown between monsters and Helsing’s group to a contest of karaoke.
I am not going to mention what this movie is all about since this really is a crappy movie (except those hot girls ;)). Really, if you watched this in the theater, then you got ripped off ;).
