South Park
Since I recently blogged about The Cleveland Show, I thought I might as well blog about one other cartoon series that I really enjoy. It is called South Park. It is American animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. Intended for mature audiences, the show has become infamous for its crude, surreal, satirical, and dark humor that lampoons a wide range of topics. This series revolves around four children - Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick and their bizarre adventures in and around the titular Colorado town.
When I first saw this, I was not really attracted to it because the drawings are really terrible. But after checking out a movie a long time ago, I really had a big laugh while watching it. Whatever the drawing, South Park is really hilarious. And when I said this is intended for mature audiences, it really is intended for them because there are lots of swearing and expletives voiced by even the kids themselves.
More than 10 seasons now and South Park is still a hit with the Comedy Central channel. The best episode so far was when they played World of Warcraft. That, by far was the best, enjoyable and most hilarious episode for me. Check it out.
