Jose Marias
Jose Marias is a new Mexican restaurant in The Gallery strip in Mabolo, Cebu. And you know what food there is whenever it is Mexican. TACOS! That is right! TACOS! But I did not eat tacos there though. It was my cousin’s birthday celebration last night. The place looks ok. Good ambiance lighting. The prices of the food were also not that expensive. Even better than MoOOn Cafe’s. Plus the serving’s pretty good. Lots of them. Well, except for the Tuna Viente (did I spell that right?) something (serving was too small) and the iced tea bottle (lots of bubbles that occupied it), the rest were all alright.
Service? Well … that is another story. It was not good. To think it was a weekday so the place was not packed. You would have to wait for any of the staff to go up in case you need something because there was no one there, not unless they were serving food or taking orders for new customers. Or maybe they were just understaffed? Not really a good excuse. Not sure if I would be eating there again (unless if it’s free ;)).
