Disasters Here, Disasters Everywhere!
Before I had been seeing quite a number of headlines regarding terrorism. Nowadays, it has been disasters. Just when the super typhoon passed by the Philippines, another one is bound to hit it. The country had already been flooded greatly by Typhoon Ketsana, Typhoon Parma is now in town. In other countries, I read about the tsunami in American Samoa plus the earthquakes in Indonesia. Those and other plane crashes that occurred around the world.
I have never experienced quite a year full of disasters such as this year. Please help pray for those who passed away because of these disasters. Amidst all these, I just cannot believe there are some people who would deceive other people by taking advantage of these disasters and setting up accounts for people to remit telling them that this is for donation purposes when in fact the scoundrels use it for their own benefit. One was found out actually, in the Philippines.
These people should be jailed for life! They are an embarrassment to their country. I hope there won’t be any more disasters this year. I think we all have had enough.
