Where The Safest Place To Sit In An Airplane
I am sure you have read of the news about a second airbus plane that crashed this month. I read an article in CNN the next day about where the safest place to sit in an airplane to achieve a better survival rate. I heavily agree that the safest would be at the back. For one thing, the plane moves forward and if ever such a crash may occur, people in front would always bear the brunt of the plane’s moving force when it crashes. As such, there is a better survival rate for people sitting at the back.
It is for that same reason why recorders are placed there, to possibly avoid much damage. Then again, there is no such assurance that the back is the safest place. It also depends on how the plane crashes. We can never know the future right? However, a better survival rate is much better than having no survival rate at all, right? Thank goodness there was a child survivor in that Yemeni plane crash. That, is what I call real lucky.
