Ben 10 Omniverse (TV - 2012)
Ben 10 Omniverse is the 4th installment of the successful Ben 10 tv series, one of my all time favorites.
The series follows the adventures of a 16 year old Ben Tennyson, bearer of the Omnitrix, who teams up with an alien named Rook, a rookie and a by the book partner.
While the voice characters are all still the same, it seems in the first episode Gwen and Kevin transferred to another city to study leaving Ben all on his own, till he met Rook.
The alien character drawings are okay and look the same as in previous installments. However, the human character drawings look like they are drawn by the same artists who created Dexter’s Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls.
You have to see it to believe it. Ben 10 is freaking ugly. Kevin looks worse and morbin while Gwen looks like a character made from the game Minecraft. Heck, uncle Ben’s eyes look like eyebrows.
If it were not for the aliens: Ben 10′s aliens, not the new enemy with an armor that looks like Skeletor, I would not be watching this at all. Oh yeah… even the aliens look bad too but I think I can live with them.
