Arrow (TV) 2012
Arrow is a modern retelling of the adventures of legendary DC hero Green Arrow. So far the series has been good. My wife and I got totally addicted to the series.
While I think the character portraying the emerald archer is a tad short, overall I think the casting was good.
I am not expecting beyond what needs to be expected because the series is just starting. However, I hope that perhaps maybe in the second season, Green Arrow’s arrows should emulate those in the cartoon series where his arrows can become bombs, shoot big nets and whatsoever.
He already has shown some Batmanesque moves, now he just needs to upgrade his arsenal rather than sticking to ordinary arrows.
He should at least wear a mask though, the way he is wearing his hood now he can easily be unmasked considering Green Arrow is just using some eye paint or something.
The series so far has shown a little of the DC world featuring the Royal Flush Gang, without superpowers. Here is hoping the series will evolve and showcase such characters DC style!
Arrow is a good one that is now part of my regular viewing list.
