How much is the jeepney fare now? 8 pesos is the starting rate right? And wow, do passengers also get a freebie and possibly more. If the jeepney belches out bad smoke, that’s one freebie for you. Better, if the driver smokes while driving, passengers also get another freebie of accumulating 2nd hand smoke and getting lung cancer later. This is one of the reasons why I hate it here. There should be rules banning drivers from smoking. Hell, is this the reason why they’re so concerned about fuel price increase? They don’t care less even the smallest amount of money they have can be used for something more useful rather than buying cigarettes. Even taxi drivers do that when they have no passengers. If one does indeed ride in their taxi, the passenger would inhale all leftover smoke from the driver’s breath. Wouldn’t you want to have a bubble ability that would engulf the driver’s head with a bubble so that he would get to inhale all the smoke that he puffs out and gets suffocated with it? Muahahahaha. Is it fair to pay their demanded fare rate? It is, if their jeepney doesn’t blech out smoke, the driver doesn’t smoke and the size of their vehicle is big for people, not for kindergarten sized passengers like those 03Q and 04L SM routes. Those vehicles should be blasted to bits because they’re just a nuisance on the road. Even those Mister Bean type of cars. Why can’t rules be implemented for this? I heard Davao had implemented rules with regards to smoking. If they can do it, why can’t we?
