BDO Is At It Again

I was glad to learn that BDO now does not close at the standard 3pm time that banks normally do. This would help a lot of people who can still do transactions beyond that time. However, I was still disappointed that they barely have enough tellers to accomodate customers. If a client brings up a lot of passbooks that look like a pile of books, it would take forever to finish that transaction. It was a hopeless case this afternoon when I went there because even if there were two tellers, both clients whom they were serving during that time had a bundle of stuffs given to them to process. So, what about us other clients whose transaction would only take a minute to process. I’m not kidding, I only went there to pay up. Let’s even exaggerate that my transaction would take at most 2 minutes. After around 10 minutes, I had to go back to the office because it would take more than an hour for sure till it would have been my turn. I went out furious because even though BDO had taken over Equitable PCI, their procedural system is still the same. There should be one teller who would accomodate all large transactions so that those clients would not deter other clients’ transactions that would take only a minute to do. I can’t possibly waste an hour to wait just so my 1 minute transaction would be tended. And this was for my credit card payment which BDO messed up because the online site of Equitable credit card is no longer online due to its merger. Rushing things right away when their systems have not even been fully migrated. I would have to line up in the bank for payment because of this. My main reason for hooking up with Equitable credit card was because I wouldn’t have to line up just to pay up. I can do it anytime online. If BDO wanted to rush everything to be migrated, they should have at least kept old resources available and running until migration has been completed. This way, clients like myself who depend heavily online to avoid the inconveniences of going to the bank would be spared from this hassle. So far, they have been doing a bad job at it.
