Having A House Of Your Own Is A Big Headache
There are pros and cons to having your house built from scratch or one which you buy an already built one. Either way, there will always be headaches that you will encounter.
In our case, we wanted our house built from scratch because we will end up paying more for crap quality materials if we buy a house and lot right away. Problem with building a house from scratch is we always want to look for the cheapest items possible.
Now, if you get to have a contractor who is honest, diligent and really wants to help you save on your expenses, then it is all good. But if your contractor is crap and just milks you for more money without even getting to finish the agreed contract, then anybody can be in a world of headache.
We are lucky we have an honest contractor. One who looks for the best alternative for us to be able to save on expenses. However, having your house built from scratch also means you will be in charge of securing paper requirements needed by the government.
I tell you, those paper requirements are one mighty big headache. It is stressful, a hassle and just downright annoying. There were many occasions where I really just wanted to shout at the world.
Everybody wants to have their own house but having one is no easy journey. Still, the positive that will come out from this is that once you are ready to move in your new place, there will always be a smile that will accompany you once you move in.
That is excitement. Agree?
