5 Years And Going Strong …
Yes. My wife and I are happily married for 5 years now and still going strong. Happy for that. Happy for her. Happy for us.
Marriage is no easy thing. I mean, once you are in, there is no way out. Sure, other countries allow divorce. But I believe marriage should stay put. That is why it is important to be mentally ready as well as emotionally when one wishes to go into marriage and start a family.
So far, I have accomplished most of my goals in life. I got married and my wife and I did not depend on our parents’ for our wedding’s financing. We spent 99% of our wedding and reception fees.
We will also be having our house soon. Although a bit short in finances, we decided to loan part of it but we will be able to pay it off in a few years.
I guess the only thing left is for us to have our own family. God willing it will be soon. It has been quite a wait. From a sad experience when my wife had a miscarriage because we did not know she was pregnant, to her surgery for removing ovarian cyst, we endured like some few couples.
Still, I know in time God will give us a child when the right time will come.
5 years and going strong … and our love is intact the same way when we first laid eyes upon each other.
