A Tiring Easter 2013
What turned out to be a time to spend time with my family ended up being a disaster because I got sick for 3 days. I only got a bit well on my last day there. Sigh. Such a waste.
That did not stop me from having to visit churches around my hometown and doing the station of the cross. Still, I think I had some good talk with my folks. It was fruitful.
I was looking forward to making something happen as well and it turned out to be the opposite. But, it was all for the better.
Rather than pursue our plan of a house, I decided to invest my life’s savings building a warehouse to have it rented. This business is strong in my hometown and this opportunity is way better than having my savings stalled in the bank.
The interest rate is pathetic but it is understandable considering banks are just places where you can safe keep your money rather than hide them in small vaults in your house.
I do feel better now with a few phlegm still stuck inside me. Eventually I will be a-okay in no time and hopefully I will be able to jog tomorrow.
Tonight, I need to catch up with my sleep. I only had 20 minutes of sleep during my boat trip back to Cebu. Of all the places in the Tourist B section, that guy who snored like a dinosaur just had to be assigned in the same tourist group as I was.
A tiring Easter, yes. But overall, it was worth every second spending time with my family and my grandmother.
