Why Are Some People Blaming Senior Inspector June Paolo Abrazado For Not Trying To Save DILG Secretary Robredo

And just like that, the news of Carabuena may be ignored now that another big news just happened: the crash of the plane carrying DILG Interior Secretary Robredo. Apparently, there was a survivor, his aide, Senior Inspector June Paolo Abrazado.

So yeah, I read the news and also the comments and was surprised so many people trying to put blame on Abrazado for not trying to save back his boss. Hell, he clearly described what happened to him before he sprung out of the water. He could barely move and when a fisherman saw him, people complained why Abrazado had to even ask to go to the Masbate police to report on what happened?

People wondered if Abrazado could have told the fisherman to go down deep and try to save those trapped inside the plane. Hell, no stupid fool would go down there, much more a fisherman with no scuba gear. People need to realize reality first rather than jump to conclusions.

I agree with what some people said that we should be thankful that someone even survived this tragic ordeal. I bet the cause of the crash was because the plane was old.

RIP to Secretary Robredo, and condolence to his family and to the two pilots who died as well. There will surely be people held liable and I know that the co-pilot should not have been any trainee considering that the passenger was a very important person.

Give Senior Inspector June Abrazado a break people. Easy for you to say such nasty things. It would be nice if you were in his shoes, then we will see what you plan to do. It is understandable if his testimonies of recalled events may not be consistent right away considering what just happened.

Anybody can be easily traumatized and not think straight. Some people may have good experience being bodyguards and all, but when the time may come where death is very near to you, duty can be out of the question and the only instinct man can think of is survival for himself.

Your argument is so weak. Extraordinary diligence should always be observed whether the passenger is a VIP or not. Well, on the instant case the act of the aide ascertain Mr.abrozado is reprehensible, because in the first place, he is an aide and as an aide his primordial duty is to safeguard the welfare of his boss. It is an elementary rule, that his existence is to protect the life and property of the good Secretary. In short, kung sa bala pa, bago magdating ang bala sa boss, ang aid muna…tama man?

@belrom: yes your argument has some good points which i also have thought about, but i still do not blame mr. abrozado. they were going to drown one way or another. it was either him or his boss. it was a difficult decision. if you were in his place, are you willing to die and leave your family behind?

I guess there is no one to blame in that tragic incident.God has a purpose why it happened.Even the family doesn’t blame him because they fully knows it was an accident.Surviving from a plane crashed is quite a miracle.Rest in peace Sec. Robredo and the two co pilots. And a new life ahead for Mr. Abrazado, you must be thankful to God.He has still plan for you why you survived.May God be always glorified in your second life.

@wuhtevah: If I am a trained one and have accepted the designation as his aide then I will exhaust all means just to save my boss or even offer my life for him. uuu.
