Anything Goes

I think the next time I see a moon ring, I will have to brace myself for some catastrophe to happen in any part of the world. Just last week, my sister told me that there was one. I could not see it in my place since I live in another city but a few days after that, look what happened.

Earthquake in Leyte and then following day a more powerful one struck Negros province and even affected Cebu where people ran and panicked because someone stupid and ignorant shouted tsunami when even government agencies just posted a tsunami alert.

In programming lingo, tsunami alert != tsunami. Such stupid actions led to people relaying news without even any confirmation that they were actually there. Heck, I even wanted to punch that moron who started yelling tsunami after that person saw a fast craft in SRP move so fast the waves went up a little.

And then the chain reaction.

If there will ever be a moon ring again, I will definitely see it as a sign of bad omen. That’s just me.
