The Man Called Flintstone (1966)

When I was looking for images to use in this post for my review on The Man Called Flinstones movie, I was surprised that this was an old movie dating back to the 1960s. I really thought it is a new movie considering that the copy I watched is crystal clear.

Which means only one thing. It was remastered.

The movie is boring at first. I actually almost decided to stop watching it after the first few minutes but good thing I just let the movie play along since I was also doing something else. Turned out as the movie goes on, so does the story.

From IMDB: In this feature-length film based on the Flintstones TV show, secret agent Rock Slag is injured during a chase in Bedrock. Slag’s chief decides to replace the injured Slag with Fred Flintstone, who just happens to look like him.

The trip takes Fred to Paris and Rome, which is good for Wilma, Barney, and Betty but can Fred foil the mysterious Green Goose’s evil plan for a destructive missile without letting his wife and friends in on his secret?

There were some dull moments like watching their kids doing a music video or something. As in the whole song, can you believe that? Still, this movie ain’t that bad. The fun started when Fred Flintstone started his masquerade as Rock Slag.
