Scooby Doo! Curse Of The Lake Monster (2010)
When I saw that there was a new Scooby Doo that just aired titled Curse of the Laker Monster, I thought it was another animated movie that they released. Turned out to be a live action/CGI television movie. The film continues the story of Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang on another sleuthing adventure.
The gang take summer jobs at a country club owned by Daphne’s uncle. There they discover strange phenomena at the local lake where mystical moonstones, creepy characters and a monster are at large. In the movie, shaggy is falling in love with Velma too. Although Shaggy’s character here is a little annoying, I think kids love his character nonetheless.
It is not every time we get to see a live action Scooby Doo movie (unless if it is a movie) and I would say this is one good movie. You get to see real monsters battling it out with the gang instead of the usual monster disguise plot that fans have grown accustomed to. Scooby Doo is still … well … hilarious as always. You should check this out if you have not seen it yet. Good movie and for Scooby Doo fans, I am sure they will love this.
