Street Fighter IV: The Ties that Bind (2009)

After the fall of Shadaloo, things went quiet and everyone continued with their daily routine. However a new evil is lurking on the horizon and the fighters that battled against Shadaloo must take up arms once again. Meanwhile a mysterious detective, whose motives are unknown, is going to any extent to find the lonesome wanderer Ryu, who appears to play a big part in the scheme of this new evil.

This new evil is S.I.N. headed by Seth who wants to use Ryu’s inner power to power up their project called BLECE. Any Street Fighter fan may appreciate this movie even though the movie is kind of boring. There were barely any fights save, Crimson Viper against Cammy. The rest are mostly dialogues. Even Guile’s sonic boom was done only once. Plus, in the last part, Seth got hit by Ryu in just one shot. Lame!

I was pretty hyped up when I downloaded this but fairly disappointed after watching it. I expected many power fight scenes but there was not much given. Downloading this may be alright but buying a DVD for this? Do not waste your money.
