Watching Boxing Live

I had written a few posts before regarding how I do not enjoy watching boxing. How I was wrong when I finally had the chance to watch it live last night. And it was because my friend invited me to shoot some photos of the action. I was very lucky to be able to take some shots ringside. As in … ringside.
I really had a great time that my views on boxing really have changed. It is very fun to watch it live compared to television even more so when you are with your friends. Too bad the fight between Michael Domingo and Luis Melendez ended in just 2 rounds. I was not able to shoot photos of the other round girls. Even the one who did make a pass before the start of round 2 did not pose that long in front of me. My place was not the right one to take photos of her.
Oh well, maybe next time. I had fun, really. And there were many other celebrity boxers present too like Z “The Dream” Gorres so it was a shoot-filled fest.
