Earth Hour 2010

And … it’s Earth Hour 2010! Are you going to take part? This is a very good practice that worldwide countries are taking part of. Icons including the Great Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower and China’s Forbidden City will be plunged into darkness as millions take part in Earth Hour, a rolling grassroots movement aimed at tackling climate change.

So any of you who think that unnecessary lightings and electricity usage can be minimized or totally avoided, do so for at least an hour. It is only an hour after all. And this only happens once a year. This global event is organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) so kudos to them. Hats off.

So, again the question? You taking part? I am … If I am going to use my laptop during that time, it will be without its charger that is for sure.
