What Would Life Be Without The Internet?
Man, that is a good question. Frankly speaking, I wouldn’t even be writing this post. This thought somehow came to my mind this morning while on my way to work. I then reflected on the what ifs if there was really no internet that existed. I probably would not have a good career as I hate marketing. And you know what people say with Chinese people, they are bred for business.
And I am not. I hate interacting with people. My mindset is, if people do not want it, leave them alone because that is also how I’d feel if some marketing person would come up to me and sell something. If I really have no interest on something, I tell them “no” right away. I never even expected I would be a programmer but it seems to fit well with who I am. I enjoy sitting in my cubicle and working my ass off rather than do some telemarketing or interact with other people to try and sell something.
Hey, the internet can be used to monetize too! Which is what I am taking advantage of to earn extra income. Not everybody can earn quite a lot of cash. There are only a select few and they are the lucky ones while the rest of us work endlessly. If there was no internet, life would be hell. There would be no Yahoo Messenger, no email, no extra income and no Facebook ha ha! Although Facebook has grown on me so scratch that out ;).
