NASA Finds Significant Water On Moon

What NASA has sought long ago with its moon missions has finally paid off. Didja hear the news about NASA finding significant amount of water on the moon? This can lead to more future explorations that will involve the tiny planet and a possible lunar space station. I am so SCI-FI but hey, anything is possible right? I believe that a space station in the moon just like in the movies can become a reality. What I am pretty sure at is that it won’t happen in my lifetime ha ha!

The amount of water they got is about a dozen or two-gallon bucketfuls. The find was based on preliminary data collected when the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite or LCROSS, intentionally crashed October 9 into the permanently shadowed region of Cabeus crater near the moon’s south pole. After the satellite struck, a rocket flew through the debris cloud, measuring the amount of water and providing a host of other data (information taken from CNN).

So many possibilities now that it is confirmed there is water in the moon. This is only the beginning.
