McDonalds Double Cheats Burger
And here is another anomalous fast food chain only in the Philippines. I remember quite well how big a McDonalds Double Cheeseburger looks like since that is what I order almost 70% of the time I eat there. While I know that recession has shrunk the food sizes in basically all products here in the Philippines, I was shocked to see their Double Cheeseburger now look like a chiffon. The cheese also looks like some kind of toy. I wanted to email McDonalds U.S. about it so they can investigate their chains here in the Philippines but their forms require submitters to be U.S. based. Tsk!
While I still do not believe that recession is the reason why food has shrunk in all shapes and sizes, they juse use recession as an excuse for the increase in price and the decrease in size. Why, Malaysia and Singapore’s fastfood chains offer bigger, larger and much more quantity in food servings compared to ours. And they are pretty worth it. Here, I get full because I have to gobble up all the soda or else I might end up ordering another value meal because I am still hungry.
It was funny too because McDonalds Escario only sold rib chicken parts. Why bother selling chicken meals if you have incomplete parts? McDonalds is a famous fastfood chain so it is never a valid reason that any of your products is out of stock. To think they have fewer food choices compared to, say, Jollibee. Disappointing. Just disappointing. If only their burgers are like the icon in this post.

very disappointing indeed. the last time i ate a mcdonald’s double cheese burger was that there were no pickles and tomatoes in it, just lettuce and cheese, and yet the picture shows double layers of cheese, burger, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce. i like pickles and tomatoes!
