Taken
Finally got to watch Taken the other night and boy was it good. Really good! It reminded me of an old movie I saw titled The Perfect Weapon. All the action scenes were superb. Liam Neeson truly was magnificent in this movie (except his face, he looks like he is almost about to cry haha). Liam is Bryan Mills, a retired agent who has a daughter Kim, who convinced him to sign approval so that she could go to Paris with her friend Amanda. When she got kidnapped by a group of Albanese gang, her father sets of to find and get her back. His daughter was uber lucky that her dad has assassin like skills, else it would have been all over from the start.
I really enjoyed this movie because there were no nonsense extracurricular actions done by Liam Neeson’s character. Like in the yacht (last part of the movie) when he dived to the ground, he shot the enemy below the sofa by hitting his foot. As the enemy fell, he continued shooting him. That is what I call no-nonsense. Pretty awesome. You definitely have to watch this. Here is hoping there would be another sequel and her daughter or his ex-wife gets kidnapped again.
