Anything Goes

I just learned today that my uncle passed away early this morning during the wee hours. He had liver cancer and just last night, I was told that his condition was hopeless and his family would just have to play the waiting game since there was nothing more that could be done. The oxygen was the only thing that kept him alive. Cancer is a serious disease, incurable and frustrating that it there is no cure for it. When I visited my uncle last Sunday, he looked better. Then, last night, I was surprised that his body got so thin his face looked like a skeleton. After seeing him that, I felt that it would not be too long. Cancer just eats up your body that fast. And as I said, the frustrating part of it all is that there is no cure for it. It is a sad day for me, my mom and her relatives. My uncle was a good man and I am sure that he is in Heaven now.
