Fitness.Fashion

Last Friday, Inquirer hosted a fashion show to launch Fitness.Fashion. As usual, the show started late which was in contrast to what my wife said that the show would start on time because they are from Manila. I told her, if the show would start on time then I’ll believe times have changed and people have come to abandon the annoying habit of Filipino Time. I was right. That is why Filipino Time can never be gone because people tolerate it. They need people to fill the seats first till they can start. Until then, it will always be like this, events starting very late. You even wonder why the announcer would say “the blabla will start shortly”. 1 hour is short huh. That’s a good one.

Anyway, the outfits of the designers were nice. I loved my wife’s outfit designed by Edwin Ao. The presentation and choreography overall was quite boring. The music wasn’t lively at all so I felt dreary during most of the show. The only good music played was during the Penshoppe part and the next part after that. The rest were pretty plain and boring. Plus, the emcees seemed out of place. One was a female whose voice sounded like a high schooler while the other was a male who does not know how to emcee. The show featured models from Cebu and Manila catwalking with designer creations together with Cebu’s icons (famous people).
