Chowking Lahug
Oh man, will disappointment never cease. Last night we ate at Chowking Lahug right after hearing mass. I ordered Shanghai Lauriat for me and my wife while Chicken Lauriat were for her two brothers. Once it was served to us, I was pretty discouraged to see the noodles were fewer than before. The rice was pretty dry and the sweet and sour sauce was pretty watery. As for one of the chicken lauriat served, there was still blood in it. I concluded that their branch really suck. They do not serve good quality food.
The Fuente branch’s quality of food is better. As does in Ayala and SM’s branch. Plus, in Lahug’s branch, it seems there’s only counter person at the counter. Three years from now, I would not be surprised if all the food in Chowking’s Lauriats would be just side dish because the amount served keeps on shrinking. Tsk.

it’s true..servings just keep getting smaller and smaller. whew. Plus their service sucks. I think in a branch near us there were only 4 or 5 people to serve us. What a pity.. maybe they are also affected by the economic recession

flor. i dont think so. fastfood chains like chowking earn big bucks. it is never a valid reason for them to give that pathetic excuse.
the worst thing is if the security guard also does some of their work. some of the fastfood establishments make them do that (i.e. jollibee i.t. park)

Wow, and to think the Chowking is one of my favorite fastfood way back then. I always go there for their very soft Siopao. My sister loves the stuff with soy sauce. The serving of their pancit merienda is so little tthat you won’t even get a chance to savor it..Tsk! 2-3 years from now, do you think, they would still be operational?? Oh yeah, Jollibee guards also carry food trays sometimes.

i even ordered their congee before because i wanted the shredded meat included with it. when it was served i asked them where the shredded meat was and they said they don’t include it with the congee anymore. can you believe that? and their poster still showed it has shredded meat with it. and to think it was the reason why I went to chowking that time just for that.
