The Blue Elephant
Sep 09, 2008 I movies. This is a fairly new CGI animated movie. I thought it would be solely for kids but after watching it, it caters to even teens and adults. I’m an adult myself and I loved this movie after watching it. The early part of the movie shows the star character elephant named Khan as a small elephant. Yet, when he ventures out to try and find his dad it was where he met a female elephant named Kon Suay. When Khan goes back to his herd to look for his mom, they were gone and it is in Kon Suay’s village that he grows into adulthood and learns the art of war. Soon, he fights for the King of Siam against the King of Burma when the King saw his greatness upon a contest between elephants. He didn’t win the contest though because coincidentally he found his mother but the King chose him because he chose to protect his mother. The King of Siam is actually the same kid that Khan met when he was still small and while he was looking for his father. It is here that Khan learns about his father. Good battle scenes, good story, good characters, good music (sounds chinese) and good plot. Watch it ;).
