Extortionists/Robbers, Get Off The Streets!
Just awhile ago, as my wife and I boarded a taxi for going home, some guy extorted money from the taxi driver. He was a bit pissed off at first and we wondered why. It turned out he spurned the 1 peso given to him by the driver. I was like, @#*$#?!? Who gave him the right to do that in the first place? These are what you call obvious crooks. Thieves. Robbers. They should be jailed for life. The police should be focusing these “OBVIOUS” robbers because they project themselves as fearsome and you, being the good old person that you are, fearfully gives money to them to avoid possible harm. What do you call that? Worse, some don’t accept small amounts given to them. I even overheard children saying it’s better that they rob since no one would give them money. Though I kept quiet when I heard one of them say that before, deep in my mind, I wanted them to do that so that they can get either shot or jailed. They’re nuisances in this world. What’s more irritating are those people who act like they own the area. Take for example jeepney stops. When jeepneys would park, they would then call for passengers. What’s the use of a conductor? These people are not hired to do these on the streets and they’re left alone to do that freely. Yet they freely do so. If Cebu is happy that its crime rate had gone down, they overlooked this major detail. If you park your car in some area, goes back to it because you’re going to go home, and some guy approaches you and asks for payment, what would you call that? I call that robbery. They should be taken off the streets. They should be jailed for life.
