Don’t Mess With The Zohan

A very good movie from Adam Sandler, I must say. I don’t get to appreciate a lot of his movies because some are pretty common but this one is different and it’s hilarious. An Adam Sandler movie will never be one if real life best friend Rob Schneider ain’t in it. Was surprised to see Chris Tucker in a cameo appearance. Same with Mariah Carey too, bad acting if I say so myself. This is the story about a Mossad agent Zohan, who fakes his death during his fight with famous arch-nemesis Phantom so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist. He romances his clients by giving them “special services” in the back room and it’s funny the way the scenes were depicted. The most laughable scene for was when he was trying to apply for the job in kid’s salon and the kid crying and misbehaving so being the ex-Mossad that he was, pinched the kid’s neck and collapsed, then telling the hairstylist attending the kid to cut the hair with no problems now haha. The Phantom is John Turturo who acted as Agent Simmons in the Transformers movie (and who’ll be back for the sequel too). One very good movie for the year 2008 that you surely don’t want to miss. I guarantee you’d love his movie as much as I did.

Good for you that you enjoyed the movie. I did get through some guffaws. But that’s it. It’s all about guffaws. I never did get to totally understand the dialogues because of the really heavy accent. Compared to the earlier Adam Sandler movies, this one was something I totally did not appreciate. But to each his own.
