Shakeys @ IT Park
Been a long since since I’ve eaten at Shakeys ever since Pizza Hut popped out of the scene a long time ago. Back when I was a kid I used to like thick crust pizzas because they’re big. Now, I barely care about extra crusts anymore. I only care about the toppings that come with it. If you come across eat all you can pizza promos, you should do away with the thick crusts as those are what will make you full right away. Last night I had the sudden craving for pizza so I told my girlfriend we dine at Shakeys because I just felt like having some pizza. Besides, I thought it was time to check out the taste again because I think that Pizza Hut’s gone boring for me, I needed something new this time for a change. We ordered their famous Manager’s Choice (Large) and some Mojos. Even with prices skyrocketing these days, I didn’t expect their pizzas would cost so much. Ok, I thought to myself, let’s wait and see what their pizza looks like now. Mojos was the first to be served since they’re just potatoes. My dad loves their Mojos very much and yes, they do taste good. I had the surprise of my life last night though. Their Mojos should be called Mojoles! There were lots of them with barely nothing inside. I paid 70 pesos for air? Man, I called them Mojoles because they’re Mojos with holes inside, as in nothing. They were like potato skins multiplied by 10 and that’s it! Mojos for you . When their Manager’s Choice pizza was served, I was even more disappointed. I have come to appreciate Da Vinci’s Pizza now because of last night’s experience. I thought having a very thin crust like Da Vinci’s is not worth to be almost 200 pesos or more. But with Shakeys Manager’s Choice last night, their pizza was even smaller than Da Vinci’s, at 272 pesos. It was kind of dry too, like it’s been cooked since morning and just reheated to be served to customers. I can’t be sure if they indeed kept the comment form they had me fill up last night but I gave them a 5/10 for the food served. Although service was alright, the most important for me was the food because that was what I went to in the first place right? Am I going back there? Yes? No? Maybe? Not a chance! I’m sticking to Da Vinci’s now.

maybe your pizza parlors there offer good servings even when prices are up these days. here, the quality also degrades.
