Mosquito and a Fly

Funny how I used to think back when I was a kid that a mosquito and a fly were just one. I never saw any mosquitoes during daytime but only get to see them during the night when I go to sleep. Whereas the fly would appear during the day. My thinking back then was that mosquitoes and flies are the same. Since I see flies all the time during the day, they would mutate and become mosquitors at night to feed and suck blood whenever they can. It took me a few more years till I finally saw a mosquito during the day and I wondered, did this mosquito forget to turn into a fly? Perhaps it was still half awake. The thinking of a child … hahaha. I laugh at myself when I reminisce about that.
