Cebu Pacific Delay
Jun 29, 2008 I life.Whew. I normally don’t ride planes when I travel to my hometown and back. Even though they introduce zero fares, the total net cost is still way higher than when riding a boat. With the recent tragedy of Sulpicio Lines’ Princess of the Stars, all their ships were grounded pending investigation. I couldnt’ travel via Super Ferry as it has to drop by Butuan first and I don’t have all the luxury of time wasting it. The only other ship leaving for my hometown on a Friday from Cebu is Trans Asia and I never ride that boat. That ship’s too small and I never feel safe when I ride in it. My trip from Cebu was alright. The trip going back was a big problem. It was my first time to experience a delay with a flight. Good thing it was like almost an hour only. Worse if it was more than that. Now I see why lots of people say Cebu Pacific flights get delayed too often. Heck, there was only one counter serving the flight to Cebu. Poor guy, I’m sure he was pressured because he was the only one tending to all customers who were going to Cebu (me included). What is needed here is a better airport for Cagayan de Oro. I don’t mind the 200 peso terminal fee if the airport looks good. Cebu’s International Airport is a good one. What I can’t accept is the Domestic Airport in Manila that charges 200 pesos. They nuts? People kept paying 200 pesos and they haven’t even done something to the airport until now? To avoid these delays, more counters should be provided to cater customers so that flights will not get delayed. Otherwise, this problem will persist on and on …
