Anything Goes

Oh Grille used to be one of my favorite diners in town. My girlfriend and I ate there last night. It’s beside Krua Thai in SM Cebu. The place, aura and its ambiance is still the same as when it first opened. The area is not so big but it’s a good place to hang out. There used to be someone playing acoustic on some days/nights. I’m not sure if they still do it now. The food was a change from when we ate at Mooon in IT Park. I ordered the usual, Tangigue with rice, mmmmm… delish while my girlfriend ordered babyback. We also ordered gambas since I wasn’t really satisfied when we one at Mooon. So there … we ate and ate and talked and talked. All the while, my girlfriend suddenly pointed to something on the other end of our table. Something was beneath the table. I then realized it was a rat as big as a woman’s sandal. Ick. And that’s why in the first sentence of my post I used the word “used to be” because I got discouraged when I saw that pest inside. If the place would have been packed last night, the people sitting on that area would have surely freaked out. Oh Grille?! Oh Rat! Yuck!
