Mooon IT Park
Jun 17, 2008 I food. So, my girlfriend and I went to Mooon’s branch in IT Park last night. Something new I dare say … location … not the food. I think they serve the same things as in their original establishment in Guadalupe. The place looks fun and I can say something new. You’d see propellers twirling itself near the top of the ceiling. The walls are all see through, they’re all made of glass. People can see you from outside and you can see everyone from inside. Their waitresses look like very young girls with their uniforms on, even though they’re not really young he he he. And the name is now Mooon with 3 letter O’s. I saw some post when i sifted through Google that the 3 O’s represent the 3 owners? Anyway, not important. On to the main reason why we went there in the first place … To dine … The F-O-O-O-D. The following were what we ate and my assessment of each.
Gambas Al Ajillo - I wanted to eat gambas so much that I had to order one upon seeing it in their menu. The picture looked yummy. When the order came, there wasn’t much gambas to see. Around 70% are either tomatoes and chiles while 30% comprise only gambas. And they’re pretty small. Not a good deal for something worth 135.00 pesos.
Nacho de Salsa - My girlfriend and I never liked this one. The nachos were hard to bite. We were better off eating Mr Chips instead. The salsa sauce wasn’t much salsa. Too much mayonnaise which for me wasn’t a good match for nachos.
Chicken Mozzarella Melt - This was what I ordered for the main course and it came with 1 bowl of rice. It was good if I say so myself so this order was a good deal for me.
Mooon Steak - My girlfriend ordered this one and it was a bit salty. Probably too much soy sauce. But it wasn’t that bad. I tasted it a little myself.
Wasn’t happy overall. But at least if I’ll eat there again, I now know what to and what not. My suggestion is you’re better off ordering their meals that already come with rice.
Like what you see? Buy me a cup of coffee. I love cappuccinos.
