Boredom Factors

I kind of had a long layoff from blogging because I was so busy migrating one of my blogs to my wordpress. Frankly, wordpress is not user friendly to begin with. You’d have to be at least a little bit tech savvy to understand its intricacies. I was forced to use wordpress anyway because I finally bought myself my own domain haha! Yes, my own domain finally. I used to run my domain before when a hosting company had a promotion to have a domain free for a year. It was cool then, but the freebie lasted for only a year so I was back to using a generic domain for my site e.g. chitgoks.___.com. So now that I finally have it (again), I was so occupied with setting everything up I barely even had time to focus on my work. Good thing I worked myself to death the other week as I wasn’t that much pressured to finish what I needed to do this week. I’ve been ranting about my hosting and domain when I should be talking about something else. Boredom. Ever been bored? You should have, else you’re not normal. Ever felt bored at some point in time? I do, and it happens quite consistently at some point of the year. Most specifically when it’s near Christmas. Heck, even at the start of December I already don’t feel like working anymore. The same feeling persists till after somewhere on the first week of January the following year. I can’t explain it. I just don’t feel like working during that month. In my head it’s like, “I wana go home!”. In case you’re wondering why, I am working in another city. So homecourt advantage is, well, far from me. I have my fiance with me, so yeah it shouldn’t be a problem. But sometimes, you miss your family and the Christmas season feeling comes at an early time for me. The other kind of boredom that I feel sometimes, I’m sure that lots of working people have experienced this. Life after college is just totally different. When you’re a student, all you worry about is passing and getting good grades. After you graduate, it’s a whole different ballgame. You work for your future. Survival of the fittest. Hey, at least college has summer vacations. When you work, do you even get a vacation like that? Well, you could, but there are bound to be drawbacks (not going into details). Ever felt that every single day, everything you do is the same? It pays to be rich. You would never get bored. The world is vast and there are soooooooo many places to explore, unending things to use and buy and so much more. The other kind of boredom that I experience from time to time doesn’t have any reason. Sometimes, I don’t know why I’m bored. It just gets to me. Even if I try to do something to keep me occupied, it doesn’t fix the problem. So I just let it be and wait for it to get out of my system. These 3 are what make boredom in my life. Come Christmas Season, it’s going to be another lazy month for me to live with it.

Like what you see? Buy me a cup of coffee. I love cappuccinos.
