Female geishas are common in Japan. Except now, the opposite sex of geishas are on the rise. Check out the news below. This could help males who have a hard time financially. Thanks to women now who have earning powers (as what the article says), hire them as companions which is a very high demand now in Japan. Of course, I don’t see anything wrong with it. When you talk about geishas now, it ain’t just about women anymore. It’s true that as a geisha, you’d also have to spend to make yourself look good. Otherwise, you won’t get any customer. Just like being a celebrity. They get paid to look good as well. Still, the earnings that come with working as one, is huge.
