This 4th Gen iTouch Is Worth It

Even though Apple devices are pricey, I would say this iTouch 4th gen that I recently bought is worth it. Why? Because of the wonderful people behind jailbreaks. Now anybody can get any games and apps that they want. While Apple’s device is great, it all boils down to the apps.

These devices were never much of a hit when the iTouch was just a music and video player. Once they introduced apps to the world, that was the start of Apple’s rise to overtake Microsoft. Without apps, the iPhone and iTouch would be nothing.

I have played and tried a few games here and there so in the coming days, I will be back to doing reviews on iTouch games. This time, my appetite has come back because I am very impressed with the graphics quality that games have today compared to games running in iTouch’s old operating system.

Stay tuned …

Quickest Way To JailBreak Your iOS 4.2.1 Device

The “quickest way” point of view may differ from what I think but so far when I used greenpois0n to jailbreak my iTouch device with iOS version 4.2.1, it was very quick … and easy.

I ain’t going to post the link of greenpois0n here but well … you can always Google it ;) . And as for iPhone 4 owners who are afraid the warranty may get void if they jailbreak their iOS device, do not worry. This software totally works!

Now I am excited to continue writing game reviews liked I used to before. I wonder what my first review of the game will be after such a long hiatus …

Using An Umlaut In iTouch

Umlauts are those two nifty little dots (or accents) that appear above vowels in German and other languages. They are not default characters on the iPod touch keyboard, but you can make them appear.

If you still cannot picture out how they look like, some people use them to portray smilie that is smiling rather than a colon and a closing parenthesis.

To use an umlaut, do this: touch and hold down the letter on the keyboard. An array of accent marks will appear. From there, your beloved umlaut will be there.

This is a neat tip from Tom’s Guide. Probably not very useful to many people, but definitely in some cases.
