So you enabled Host GPU in order for your Android emulator to become responsive. But then, you see the same red colored messages like E/eglCodecCommon﹕ glUtilsParamSize: unknow param. This is pretty annoying as I do not know who would want to keep seeing these kind of messages.

A quick solution is to filter out these messages from eglCodecCommon.

1. In LogCat, click the upper right most drop down selection and choose Edit Filter configuration.
2. Under Log Tag, type this ^(?!eglCodecCommon)
3. Press OK

That’s it! No more annoying messages.
