Technology has made it possible for anybody to own any device that can do a lot of things. Printing ID cards, you need an ID card printer and Magicard’s ID card printers are one of the industry’s best. With these, you can print full color secure photo ID badges, membership cards, smart cards and even access control badges.

What makes them unique from the rest of their competitors is that their access control feature is made possible through the use of their patented HoloKote anti-counterfeiting visual security feature which prints standard or custom watermark security and this comes as no cost to you because it is already part of the printer’s capabilities.

I find this very impressive. The custom image which is printer onto the card is encrypted and electronically stored on a custom key thereby making duplication impossible. Security will not be compromised in the process. These features plus the fact that the prices are affordable and cost less than what you can find in retail stores make these Magicard printers very appealing.

You can also find some Magicard cartridge, Tango ribbons and Tango manual in the site. When quality and security really matters, Magicard printers are a good alternative in my point of view.

Sony Ericsson, a joint-venture between Ericsson and Sony, reportedly plans to release a PlayStation-branded phone featuring Android 3.0 operating system in the coming months or quarters. The phone has already been pictured presumably by outsiders of the company, so the plan seems to be solid.

The first ever PlayStation phone will resemble PSP Go portable game console, but will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 system-on-chip clocked at 1.0GHz, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM and so on, according to Engadget web-site. The smartphone that will reportedly be based on heavily customized version of Android 3.0 “Gingerbread” operating system will feature 3.7″ - 4.1″ screen similar to that of PSPgo.

My comment on this … yuck. The design that is. I do not like the gray color on the body of the PSP Go’s console. While having it as a phone is a plus because of the Android O.S., its physical looks do not appeal to me. That is just me though, what about you? What do you think of the PSP Phone?

One of the frustrating things with Mac OS is that you cannot uninstall an application completely in the sense that there will always be remnants of files scattered all around your system and unless the application comes with an uninstall application, you will have to painstakingly remove files manually by yourself for who knows how many there are.

This was the case when I tried to uninstall Norton Antivirus for Mac OS. I just wanted to see how the app works. When I found out it was useless since it never ran, I uninstalled it right away. I always use Amnesia to remove applications and all its related files but after I rebooted my laptop, it ran a Norton QuickMenu application. There I suspected that there were still remnants of it scattered around.

I searched and searched and finally, I was lucky enough to come across this page on how to uninstall Norton Antivirus for Mac OS completely. Go to this link and follow the instructions. Do not be surprised at the number of instructions that you need to do. The step by step details are very short instructions on what you need to do in your system running Mac OS.
