So it finally happened. At long last, Yahoo opted not to be greedy and struck a deal with Microsoft merging its search technologies to try and challenge on search powerhouse Google and get a bigger share in the online advertising revenue.
Because of the deal, Yahoo will not receive some payment from Microsoft but instead, it will receive around almost 90% of search revenue generated via its sites during the first five years of agreement. The deal will also increase the market share of Microsoft’s search platform, Bing which I thought at first was a search engine used caused by some spyware in my laptop to redirect whenever a search query happens.
After being a strong search engine in its early years, Yahoo! finally gave in to the fact that they cannot do it without Microsoft. Microsoft also acknowledged Yahoo’s position in the search engine industry. Things will be pretty interesting from now on.
From Paramount Digital Entertainment, Iron Man : Aerial Assault brings Marvel’s tin can superhero to the iTouch featuring the same weaponry that we see in TV shows, comics and in the movie. The game makes heavy use of the accelerometer and touch functions are you go through trainings and missions.
While there already have been rumors circulating about a possible Apple Tablet device coming out, this would be pretty cool. Imagine a larger version of an iPhone or iTouch, capable of doing the same things, plus if developers would create applications for that, the features could be endless. While Table PCs did not become a hit, I believe Apple has a chance to make it big here. First of all, it is Apple . Plus the fact that if you envision having a larger version of an iPhone, how good would it be to have it serve as an alternative for a TV?
