What is AI Servo exactly? When I first saw this word in my camera, I thought it was AL Servo as in the letter L after A. Turns out to be AI which means Artificial Intelligence. It is a type of auto-focusing mode that is also called focus tracking. It is used to track a subject that is moving toward or away from your camera. When in use, the lens will constantly maintain its focus on the subject wherever it is, which is pretty useful for activities like sports. Although the default auto-focus option can be pretty decent enough, using AI Servo can help give good results too.
