Talamban Residents Lose 2 Hours Of Their Lives

Traffic is bad in Cebu. Almost anywhere you go to, there will always be traffic. Though not as much as Cagayan de Oro where traffic there is worse, Cebu will catch up in no time considering the rise of condominiums and hotels have not yielded any road widening or imposed laws that require establishments to provide parking space for its customers.

Why let these people who build buildings without having any parking space, right? Public roads get compromised. Traffic in the Talamban area is very bad. USC Talamban is one major cause of the traffic and I doubt the traffic problem will go away unless the government does something to the road.

So there, so far while I have cherished the wondrous time I get to sleep soundly at night, I feel like this comfort is tarnished because of the possible stress that comes from having less time left to work in the office because people want to avoid the traffic.

Other than that, there also gets to be too little time left to spend time with your special someone unless you really work double time without working overtime to balance time with your beloved, work and your own life.

Just imagine what people can do with those 2 hours if they do not get wasted over something like traffic.

Prince Of Persia: Sands Of Time

This was a movie that my wife and I did not expect to watch in a theater. I was supposed to book some plane tickets that day and ended up finishing early so while waiting for my aunt 4 hours later, we decided to kill the time and watch a movie instead. We chose Prince of Persia: Sands of Time instead of Shrek 4.

What can I say? This movie is good. Really. Believe me, the main character looks better jumping and doing acrobatic moves in the movie rather than playing him in the game versions.

The movie is about Dastan, who was adopted from the streets of Nasaf by King Sharaman of Persia. He grew up amongst royalty and quickly earns his place as a mighty warrior and prince. As his brothers Garsiv and Tus plan battle strategies, a spy sends word that the Holy City of Alamut has been supplying weapons to enemies of Persia.

Taking matters into his own hands, Tus orders an attack on the sacred city and upon its fall Dastan encounters the beautiful Princess Tamina. When King Sharaman dies under mysterious circumstances shortly after, and Dastan is accused of his murder, he flees with the princess on a harrowing mission to clear his name. Learning from Tamina the true motives behind Alamut’s invasion, Dastan must embark on a perilous quest to stop an evil mastermind’s plot for ultimate power with a mystical weapon that can control the very fabric of time.

The first part of the movie I was like, this seems rushed just like Clash of the Titans but as the movie went on, it finally felt like a normal movie ;), nothing rushed and the pace was at its normal. Overall, this is an excellent movie
