Be Thankful You Have A Job
Before, I used to complain if I do not get an increase of my current salary. That was then. These days, it is difficult to do so. What with the economy of countries around the world in a volatile state.
Nowadays, I am thankful to even have a job rather than not having one. Increase or not, especially at my age I consider myself lucky to have a job than not having one at all.
I cannot blame the young ones if they complain about a no increase paycheck. Aside from the fact that they are still young, I still do not see that as a valid reason because every year, there will always be new graduates and competition will be more stiff.
The world gets more overpopulated as days go by that the number of companies cannot accommodate everybody with a position. That is why even now we get to see so many jobless people.
That in a nutshell is why I do not mind a no increase in salary but just be thankful enough that I still have my own job, that I can pay for my monthly expenses and still save a little for the future.
Although an increase would not hurt, right?
