To Run Or Just Rest?
My sole is currently hurting and I wonder if I may push through with the planned fun run this coming August 19. I also have second thoughts if I will play basketball next Tuesday as I might aggravate my injury more.
I thought I might just rest this till the said fun run and avoid playing basketball and jogging after that, doing only exercise that does not require me to stomp on my feet. I figure some recuprating time is in order. I am even wearing some reflex slippers to help soothe the pain.
And you know what? I feel pretty good whenever I wear them. The in-soles do not help that much but at least it is better than totally wearing a neutral pair of shoes when my feet are for stability.
In the meantime, in order to burn some fats and calories I do the exercises of the 4 minute workout except jumping jack since jumping on the floor could annoy my board mates. Without any timer involve, I do some squats, pushups and leg lunges 100 times to compensate my rest policy and no jogging rule.
However, I will just wait and see if this coming Tuesday I might break that rule and jog for a bit. Exercise is really good. It gives me a reason to eat without worrying on getting fat. The bootcamp of Coach Jim Saret really did me wonders.
I think I had a little too much though, hence the rest. Hopefully, my foot’s sole will be okay in a few days time.
