The Snapdragon Stadium Name Change

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Snapdragon by Qualcomm for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Why would a company that owns a well known stadium change its name for 11 days? For one thing, this is more of a marketing strategy to expose a brand to a wider audience. You know how it is with super bowl games. It is like a major event event every year, college games included.

And so that is what the owners of Qualcomm have in mind. For 11 days, the name Qualcomm Stadium will be renamed to Snapdragon Stadium during the San Diego Chargers game hosting against Baltimore as well as 2 other college super bowl games called the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 21 and the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl on December 28.

Snapdragon processors are well known in the digital industry for being the core in powering up smart phones. Think of Snapdragon processors by Qualcomm are the digital brains inside mobile devices made. Mobile phones by well known manufacturers like Nokia, HTC, LG and Samsung use Snapdragon processors.

This temporary name change should allow football fans to be aware of the power of what Snapdragon processors do when used by mobile phones.

Exposure is essential and this, from my point of view is a brilliant idea to expand audience reach on a wide level.
