Batman: Under The Red Hood Movie

When I first learned about this movie, I was very excited. After all, there are not that many cartoon action series good to watch these days. Ben 10 is on a break. So is Generator Rex. Any Batman movie ought to be good and after watching it, I was not wrong.

Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. Killing is an option. And when the Joker falls in the balance between the two, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.

Sounds familiar? Cleaning up with the efficiency of Batman? Only a superhero can do that. And it turns out to be his sidekick Robin, who went mad after he was revived by Ra’s al Ghul from his death (or so Ra’s says) and became the Red Hood. Batman still rocks because he still is the boss when it comes to fighting skills.

There was a part of the story where I had to agree. During the last part, when Robin asked Batman why let the Joker loose? Compared to other villains, he is the worst so why not kill him. He does have a point. Joker is the worst villain among all Batman’s foes. But Batman stuck to his decision and in the end, Robin disappers. Nightwing has a few cameos here so it was an added bonus.

If you have not seen this movie, I recommend you watch this. Another great animated movie by DC Universe.
