Lego: The Adventures Of Clutch Powers

Now, this is more like it! Finally! After watching short cut scenes on lego type games in my PSP like Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman & Robin, Lego has released their first full length film in DVD titled The Adventures of Clutch Powers. It is developed by Tinseltown Toons and incorporates all lego mini-figures and structures that you see in toys.
Clutch Powers and 3 other members are sent on a mission to Mars to investigate a possible breakout of jail prisoners due to a distress call that got cut off. Or is it? I won’t spill more details about the plot. I would recommend you watch it. Those lego characters look so cute! Heck, kids will surely love this movie.
Even if this film features a rock monsters and skeleton characters, they do not look even one bit frightening. It even incorporates a short scene at the start of the movie where Clutch Powers assembles as stack of lego parts into something, just like in the lego games.
It has humor, a good story-line, defined characters, and a very uniquely lego world-view. I know this is just the beginning. Lego will feature more films like this in the future. I wonder who it will be next time? Perhaps a Star Wars or Batman related film? I wouldn’t mind.
