Will The U.S. Team Have A Chance During World Cup 2010?

Soccer for me is a very unpredictable sport. A team no matter how strong can be upset by an opposing team at any time. Every second, every movement is nerve racking because you can never tell what will happen next. Still, I like USA’s chances overall for the FIFA World Cup 2010 that will be held this July in South Africa. Even going past the first round, I believe that with their current roster plus the hiring of retired MLS midfielder Jesse Marsch to be an assistant coach, his input will be a valuable asset with their chances in the World Cup.
World Cup odds for the USA team at the time of this writing is 66/1 while their first opponent, England is at 11/2. Day by day the odds change but regardless the odds, I can see team USA having a big chance in getting past their first round opponents, underdogs or not.
Watching soccer games during the World Cup is pure frenzy and so much fun! If you enjoy watching it on TV, how much more when you see it live?! I had been to one before a few years back and I tell you, it was a great experience for me. I am actually thinking about going to South Africa this July for the FIFA World Cup. I’ll see you there.
