NBA 2009-2010
The NBA is back in full swing as the 2009-2010 season kicked off with my favorite team, the L.A. Lakers defeating their crosstown rivals the L.A. Clippers. After their ring ceremony wherein the 2009 championship team received their championship rings, there was the fear that their emotions may get the best of them. While the news said they did not, they actually almost did.
The Clippers outscored them in the third quarter to trail by a point at the end of the quarter. Whew, good thing they regrouped in the fourth and won the game. Good luck to the Lakers! I hope there won’t be injuries that might hurt their chances for a repeat. Gasol is still out so it was a good thing Andrew Bynum did a good performance. He should. After all, he is overhyped. He was totally absent during the playoffs. Oh yeah, he is overpaid too.
Let us hope this year the injury bug won’t get him like it did the past couple of seasons. Go Lakers!
